1.2 Who You Are: Our target customers are imaginative individuals and groups seeking high-quality, themed costumes for events like World Book Day, costume parties, theatrical performances, and educational activities. You value creativity, quality, and a smooth shopping experience.

2. Product & Service Description

2.1 Product Characteristics: Our costumes are designed for creativity and fun. They are typically full-body suits (“bodysocks”) or themed outfits that emphasize character portrayal and visual impact.

2.2 What We Provide: We deliver costumes, characters, adventures, and memories. Each item is crafted with care, but please note they are costume wear intended for temporary use at events and parties.

2.3 Customization: We offer custom-made or personalized items from our themed collections (e.g., Historical, Fairytale, TV/Film). These are made to your specifications and are subject to specific return conditions (see Section 7).

3. Ordering & Payment Terms

3.1 Placing an Order

By placing an order, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete. You are responsible for ensuring your delivery address is correct.

3.2 Accepted Payment Methods

All transactions are encrypted for your protection. Payment is due at the time of order.

3.3 Order Confirmation & Processing

4.1 Shipping Regions: We ship worldwide, excluding Asia and some remote areas due to logistical constraints. By placing an order, you confirm your location is within our service area.

4.2 Shipping Options & Timelines:

• Standard Shipping: Via DHL or FedEx. Cost: $12.95. Delivery: 10-15 days after dispatch.
• Free Shipping: Via EMS for orders over $50. Delivery: 15-25 days after dispatch.

4.3 Delivery Responsibilities: The risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery to the provided address. You are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees in your region.

5. User Obligations & Responsibilities

5.1 Account & Information Accuracy: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details.

5.3 Product Care & Use: Our costumes are designed for event use. You are responsible for following any care instructions and using the product appropriately. We are not liable for damage due to mishandling, alteration, or improper use.

6. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

6.1 Return/Exchange Window: We accept returns and exchanges for most items within 15 days of you receiving the order.

6.2 Conditions for Return: Items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, in original packaging, with all tags attached. You must initiate the request within the 15-day window.

6.3 Return Process: You must contact us at [email protected] to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before sending anything back. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the error was ours (e.g., defective or incorrect item).

6.4 Refunds: Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Content: All website content, including text, graphics, logos, images, and product designs, is the property of BodySocks or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. The themes and concepts behind our costumes (e.g., Fairytale, Historical) are part of our creative offering.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 General Limitation: To the fullest extent permitted by law, BodySocks (fancydressus.com) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the website or products.

8.2 Product Liability: Our liability for any defective product is limited to, at our option, replacement of the item, issuance of a credit, or refund of the purchase price, in accordance with our Returns policy.

8.3 Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, shipping carrier delays).
